Denver Dance Medicine Associates offers on-site dance medicine services to dance companies and schools in the metro Denver and Boulder areas.
DDMA was founded by dance medicine physical therapist Sarah Graham, MS, PT, and dance medicine specialist Jan Dunn, MS, in an effort to bring the latest information on dance injury treatment and prevention to dancers and educators in their own studio environment. They are affiliated with a network of dance familiar physicians, physical therapists, and rehabilitation specialists, creating a comprehensive treatment team.
Sarah and Jan have extensive experience working with dancers in a medical and educational environment. They have provided backstage treatment for companies such as LA Dance Project, Riverdance, and Broadway tours, and have worked together in the dance medicine field for over twenty five years. Currently DDMA are the dance medicine providers for Cleo Parker Robinson Dance and have a dance injury education program at the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities. They strive to bring quality care, up to date research, and applicable knowledge to dancers, teachers, directors, choreographers, parents, and other dance professionals.
